I haven't been shy to say that I want the Broncos to win and even though I picked the Broncos to win before the first game was played in the 2013 season, I'm concerned. I'm old school and believe that defense wins Super Bowls.
Peyton will have his hands full with the game's best defense and I'm not sure that he'll be able to figure out a way to beat them. I sure hope he does and if there's any quarterback that can figure it out it is Manning.
I'm also not sure if Denver's defense will step up and play their best game of the season. They sure have to but if Marshawn Lynch has a good day running the ball, the Broncos will be toast tomorrow night.
I'm a huge Peyton Manning fan and would love for him to win his second championship. I also like Wes Welker and want him to experience the thrill of winning a Super Bowl. Wouldn't it be great if Manning and Welker hook up for the game's winning touchdown. That would be something special.
I also want this to be a good game. I don't want a blowout. Nobody wants that but there's so much hype going into this game. Predicting a winner is a really tough call. We haven't seen anything like this before.
The NFL is in the passing era and now the league's best offense and arguably the best passing game in the history of the NFL gets a chance to prove that the passing game wins championships. If Denver beats Seattle, NFL fans will really know that the new school game has taken over.
I think that this is Peyton's last chance of winning the big game. The time is now for Peyton to put his undeniable stamp as the greatest quarterback ever on the game. If Peyton wins his second championship to cap the greatest season ever by a QB, it will almost impossible to argue that he's not the greatest ever.
I haven't been that excited for the game until now. That's because I don't get into all the fluff surrounding the game. I just care about the game itself. Now I'm really excited. The nerves have kicked into gear and I can't wait for kickoff.
I sure hope that tomorrow night I can go to bed a happy man. The way for that to happen is to see Peyton and company lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
