Each week the NFL has something really special and exciting. For me it was the Patriots/Saints game that was the most exciting contest of the week. We'll have to see which games make the grade in week 7.
Seattle (5-1) at Arizona Cardinals (3-3)
Seattle won't even build up a sweat in this one. The Seahawks defense will eat up Carson Palmer.
Seattle wins 35-9.
Snoozer of the Week (See Monday Night Special)
Upset in the Making of the Week - Jacksonville Jaguars (0-6) at San Diego Chargers (3-3)
Do I really think that the Jags can win this game? Sure I do. It's the NFL. The Jaguars played their best game of the season last week against the mighty Broncos and they play a team that you never know what you're going to get.
The Chargers played a great Monday Night Football game against the surging Indianapolis Colts. They rendered Andrew Luck useless.
The problem with the Chargers is just when you think they're making strides they will do something completely idiotic to lose the next game.
Jacksonville wins 21-17.
Wild Card of the Week - Baltimore Ravens (3-3) at Pittsburgh (1-4)
Joe Flacco had a much better game in week 6 but the Ravens still lost, The Ravens are a better team at home and winning a game against divisional rivals Pittsburgh on the Steelers turf is not an easy task at the best of times.
Despite beating the terrible New York Jets in week 6 this is the worst of times for the Steelers. The Ravens are a better team than the Jets and Flcaco is a better quarterback than Geno Smith.
This will be a close game but Baltimore wins 17-14.
Lock of the Week - Cleveland Browns (3-3) at Green Bay Packers (3-2)
The Cleveland Browns started another free fall in week 6 when they lost to the Detroit Lions. Things don't get much easier for the Browns as they go on the road to Lambeau Field. It's tough winning in Green bay and I don't see the Browns doing that.
Look for Aaron Rodgers to have a good game.
Green Bay wins 24-10.
Monday Night Special/Snoozer of the Week - Minnesota Vikings (1-4) at New York Giants (0-6)
This game couples as both the Snoozer of the week and Monday Night special. I'm sure if the crew at Monday Night Football could have a mulligan they would choose different teams showcase on Monday.
I hope the crew doesn't fall asleep since this will be a terrible game.
Although the Giants are 0-6 they are facing a terrible Minnesota defense. Even Eli Manning will have a great game against this bunch of hacks.
New York Giants win 38-9
Since things can change in a heartbeat in the NFL from week to week I hope my picks pan out. A 66.67 picking percentage isn't bad but it's not great either. I'm looking at improving my picker rating this week.
Good luck to your teams in week 7.
Season Picks Score: 12 Correct and 6 Incorrect.
