NFL Recap - Week #4 - 2013 Season

I really enjoyed week #4. This was primarily due to the Minnesota Vikings big win over the Steelers the London Special #1 at Wembley Stadium. The Vikings avoided a 0-4 start to the season and Matt Cassell was a breath of fresh air. Then there was Peyton Manning and his quest for a record breaking season. He has 16 TDs already. Manning is unbelievable.

Some other reason why this was a good week include the Giants and Jets losing, Seattle winning in OT and Jacksonville continuing to stink up the field. OK, that's enough of why I enjoyed the week. Now let's get on with the recap.

San Francisco 49ers (2-2) at St. Louis Rams (1-3)
San Francisco - Problems? What problems? Do you think Kaepernick can play this game?
St. Louis - This is the real Rams and not the hyped up version that the critics thought they would be.
Signed Peyton Manning Picture - rolling Out 8x10
Philadelphia Eagles (1-3) at Denver Broncos (4-0)
Philadelphia - Ha ha ha ha ha. You call that a high tempo offense? There was one but they weren't on the Eagles side of the field.
Denver - Want more touchdowns? Tune in next week for another version of Peyton and his scoring machine.

Washington Football Team (1-3) at Oakland Raiders (1-3)
Washington - We are lucky we played the Flynn led Raiders. We would have been obliterated by most other teams.
Oakland - We couldn't beat Washington at home? We suck!

Dallas Cowboys (2-2) at San Diego Chargers (2-2)
Dallas - Win one, lose one. Win one, lose one. Thankfully we play in the pathetic NFC East.
San Diego - Rivers is our guy. Yes he is. That's until next week of course.

New York Jets (2-2) at Tennessee Titans (3-1)
New York - That's more like it. We lulled you into believing that we were good. No we ain't.
Tennessee - We would be happy if our man Locker hadn't gone down with an injury.

Baltimore Ravens (2-2) at Buffalo Bills (2-2)
Baltimore - Joe, 5 interceptions? You suck. You had 3 good games last year and everyone bought into the belief that you were a good QB.
Buffalo - We made Flacco look like the mediocre QB that he really is. Go Bills!

Cincinnati Bengals (2-2) at Cleveland Browns
Cincinnati - Can we flippin win on the road for a change? Andy has to play much better than that.
Cleveland. - Two in a row baby. You better watch out. Here we come!

Chicago Bears (3-1) at Detroit Lions (3-1)
Chicago - That's the Jay Cutler that Bears fans are used to. C'Mon Jay. So you thought you were the next Elway?
Detroit - Lions love to maul Bears every chance they get.

New York Giants (0-4) at Kansas City Chiefs (4-0)
New York - Too bad we don't play the Jaguars this season. We could have seen who is the worst team in the NFL.
Kansas City Chiefs - Our man Andy knows a thing about coaching and winning, don't you think?

Pittsburgh Steelers (0-4) at Minnesota Vikings (1-3)
Pittsburgh - It took us 45 years to be this bad again. Yikes! We stink.
Minnesota - It's amazing what a decent QB can do for your chances of winning football games.

Arizona Cardinals (2-2) at Tampa Bay (0-4)
The only thing that needs to be said about this game is that both teams suck!

Indianapolis Colts (3-1) at Jacksonville Jaguars (0-4)
Indianapolis - You don't build up a sweat against these guys.
Jacksonville - Quarterbacks? What quarterbacks? You can't call our clowns quarterbacks.

Seattle Seahawks at Houston Texans
Seattle - Thanks Matt. You handed us the victory.
Houston - That didn't just happen did it? What the heck were you thinking Matt?

New England Patriots (4-0) at Atlanta Falcons (1-3)
New England - We're starting to click. Yes we are. Watch out when we're firing on all cylinders.
Atlanta - Last year was a fluke. We suck. No playoffs for us this year.

Miami Dolphins (3-1) at New Orleans Saints (4-0)
Miami - We are pretenders not contenders. You call our guy a  franchise QB. Not  a chance.
New Orleans -You think you can stop Brees and his offense? Yeah right. think again dude.

So those were the games this week. There were some good performances and then some atrocious ones. You can add the Giants and the Jaguars to the performances that were terrible. Now that's stating the obvious.
