The Clock is Ticking For Alex Rodriguez

The clock is ticking for Alex Rodriguez in more than one way. The clock is ticking for Adud to agree to accept Major League Baseball's (MLB) ban through the end of the 2014 season. It has been reported that MLB offered Rodriguez the ban mentioned above or face a lifetime ban.

It has also been reported that MLB has mounds of evidence that not only includes the taking of Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDS) but also evidence of trying to impede and investigation an the tampering of evidence.

When it was reported earlier today that Rodriguez's lawyer, David Cornwell, said Rodriguez wouldn't accept a deal and would appeal any penalty, it was believed that Aroid was doing that so he could play out the remainder of the season. Under the MLB's drug policy an appeal of a drug related suspension is automatically stayed until the appeal is decided by MLB's arbitrator.

Sports Illustrated is now reporting that MLB may now try to use the CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement) to suspend Alex. The reasoning here is that Article XII B of the CBA, states: that "Players may be disciplined for just cause for conduct that is materially detrimental or materially prejudicial to the best interests of baseball including, but not limited to, engaging in conduct in violation of federal, state or local law" (Source SI.com).

If MLB takes this approach Rodriguez, would have to serve his penalty while the appeal is being argued. That could take the rest of the 2013 season.

So we're seeing that MLB is calling Alex's bluff and that it playing hardball with the cheating scumbag. If Alex doesn't come to some sort of agreement within the next few hours he could be facing a lifetime ban. At the very his season is done.

This would also give MLB a long period of time to argue against any appeal that Rodriguez files.

The time is also ticking because under any circumstance Alex will lose significant playing time and when his penalty is served he could be close to retirement.

Alex is dumber than a rock. By trying to fight MLB, he thought he could play this season. Now it seems that at the very least he will lose this year. At the most he could be out of the game for life.

Many sports fans thought that Alex's image couldn't take worse of a hit than it already has but Alex found a way to make it much worse.. In my opinion Alex Rodriguez looks like a thug and a punk. He's a dumb jock who thought he was more powerful and smarter than MLB. He is wrong.

I love how MLB is approaching this and I want to see Alex squirm. I want him out of the game for life. This guy is a clown. He's a piece of garbage.

I believe that it's obvious that Alex Rodriguez doesn't respect the game of baseball. It is one thing to be a cheat and liar like Braun but in the end Braun gave up the fight. Alex is too dumb to take that same road.

I think it would be a slap in the face to baseball and the fans if Aroid was able to play the game of baseball again. I hope his latest antics and legal posturing comes back to bite him in his juiced up backside.  I assuming that he is juiced. LOL.

I think that Alex is a sure bet to be voted as the most hated player in major sports.
