If you thought that the New Orleans Pelicans logo was terrible and one of the worst logos in sports, along come the Oregon state Beavers. They did the impossible by unveiling their newly modified logo. It's terrible and the team is letting the Pelicans off the hook as the worst logo in sports.
I thought it would be a long time before such a putrid logo was unveiled. They should have kept their old logo. This one is pure garbage. Check out the logo for yourself. I'm curious to see what you think.
Besides thinking that this logo is awful I'm at a loss of words to describe how I feel when I look at it. Does the logo make me want to laugh? Does it make me shake my head? Does it make me wonder who the person is who created this abomination? Yes to all the above.
I started out by laughing at the logo. Then I shook my head in disbelief that the school could unveil such trash. In the end I questioned who created this mess. I really think this logo is a joke. If I was an Oregon State Beaver I would be embarrassed to wear that trash.
Maybe the team is trying to get the weakest recruits in the nation to play for them. Can you imagine being a top recruit and being faced with wearing such a putrid uniform? Of course that wouldn't be the deciding factor for a recruit but it might make them shake their head a few times.
I could say that this logo is suited for a minor league team but the college level is below that. The logo isn't fir for a college sports team. I think that the school would have been better off leaving the old logo alone.
Why change a logo if you're going to make it worse? Seriously, who signed off on this thing? Was the person drunk? OK, I'm just kidding about that but I do think that the person or people who signed off on the logo had a momentary lapse of judgment.
I really wonder what Oregon Beavers fans think of this new logo? Do you really think that they like it? I can't see that being a possibility. You can be the judge of the logo. I hate it!
