So how do you lose to the Minnesota Timberwolves by 29 points? The answer is that you are the New Orleans Mosquitoes, Pelicans, I mean Hornets. That's how you lose to one of the worst teams in the NBA. The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the terrible Hornets 115-86. Are you kidding me? When I saw the score I thought it was a joke.
How do you lose by 29 points to a team that had a 17-26 coming into Saturday's game? The answer is that you are a team that came into the game with a 15-32 record that was good enough for the worst record in the NBA's Western Conference. I can't stop laughing. The Hornets are a pathetic team and gives me lots of pleasure saying that. Why? Because I received lots of criticism in a previous article for calling the team a loser team.
If I wasn't convinced that the Hornets or whatever atrocious name that they came up with is a terrible team, I'm 100% convinced tonight. The Hornets/Pelicans are a joke. They are pathetic. The Timberwolves aren't a good team and they are without their star player Kevin Love.
It's one thing to lose a game. It's quite another to be blown out by nearly 30 points. That means you weren't even competitive in the game. That shouldn't be a surprise either. New Orleans has lost by 18 or more points five times this season. That's pathetic. They've lost by 15 or more points 10 times this season. That's 21% of their games. That's even more pathetic. Ha ha ha.
It's clear that the Timberwolves beat a terrible team tonight. I'm going to give them credit. You still have to go out and win the game, no matter how terrible your opponent is. While the Pelicans are terrible, they've still won 15 games. That's a mighty 31% winning percentage. So you never know when the team will get lucky and win the victory lottery.
I wish the Timberwolves can bottle this victory up and use it as some magical victory potion. The problem with that is when the Timberwolves actually play a competent NBA opponent that magic potion will mean nothing. Sure the potion would work against a CBA team but not an NBA team.
So the next time the Timberwolves win a game by 29 points, it's likely that they just faced the Hornets/Pelicans.
