Texas Two Step Out of the Playoffs by the Texans

The Texans were obliterated in the second half of Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. They left off where they ended December. That is playing an inferior brand of football. The Texans two stepped their way out of the playoffs.

After winning their wild card game against the Bengals last week they marched their way in and then their way out of New England. The Patriots crushed them in their first meeting which took place in regular season. Then on Sunday the Patriots continued their dominance over the Texans.

For Texans fans it ends a frustrating season. For most of the season the Texans were the top team in the AFC. They looked like they were the sure bet favorites in the AFC. Then as fast as they ascended they came crashing down to earth. Their decent was quick. They just couldn't recover.

For Matt Schaub this has to be a bitter pill to swallow. His team just couldn't beat the Patriots this year. To be fair to Matt, he faced the winningest team in the past decade. He face a juggernaut and the winningest quarterback in playoff history (Tom Brady).

Tom did a number on the Texans defense. The Texans couldn't do much to stop Brady. Brady went 25/40 for 344 yards and three touchdowns. I would say that's a pretty darn good day. That's incredible. Brady keeps playing like a champion during playoff games. He's Mr. Clutch.

I grew up hating the Patriots. That changed about 10 years ago. I love the way Brady plays. He's a winner and he played like it again today. He's a joy to watch. The Ravens will have a tough time against Brady's offense. It will be an uphill battle for them to win at New England.
