Hofstra Players Gone Bad

Four Hofstra basketball players have gone bad. Hoffstra suspended four basketball players who have been arrested and charged with numerous counts of burglary. The players are Jimmy Hall, Shaquille Stokes, Dallas Anglin and Kentrell Washington. Should the school have suspended them? Yes.

I'm glad that the school suspended these players. They are innocent until proven guilty but the school took the right action. Based on what I know which is relatively limited, I believe that the prosecutors have enough evidence to convict these players.

I hope that if they are found guilty that they receive the maximum penalties allowed by law. These bums had an opportunity of getting a college education and playing college basketball. They took that opportunity and threw it in the garbage.

While the title of this article suggests that the players might have gone bad recently, I believe that these guys were always rotten. I'm not sure of their background but if they had sketchy pasts, they shouldn't have received the opportunity to play basketball at Hoffstra. Now they might have blown that opportunity for good.

It just goes to show that when you are a criminal you will find a way to break the law. It looks like these losers didn't have to look very far to find what to steal. Were these guys looking for the big payday int heir thefts? If they were, they are not only criminals but also dumb. Maybe it's time for them to find another job. They're not too good at this one. They will have a lot of time to think about a new career. Making license plates might be a good option for them.

Maybe they were looking for a thrill. Maybe they like the thrill of the crime. Maybe these lawbreakers get a kick out being bad boys. It's sad when people resort to this nonsense. There are many basketball players that would love the chance to play college basketball, These clowns took that opportunity away from other athletes.

Not to worry. Those other players might get that opportunity in the near future. It's not looking very good that these four criminals will be returning to the basketball court, at least in the near future.

I'm sitting here shaking my head that these oafs would give up such a golden opportunity. I'm not sure why they wouldn't take that opportunity and take advantage of it. Instead, they took advantage of their alleged victims. I'm hoping that they will pay a hefty price for their actions.
