Rings and More for the Miami Heat

Lebron James and the Miami Heat started tonight's game against the Boston Celtics with a ring ceremony in honor of their NBA title. They ended the night the same way they finished the 2011/12 season, with a victory. Dwyane Wade was great tonight and he was backed up Chris Bosh and Ray Allen. We shouldn't forget about James who had a great first half but had to leave the game in the second half due to cramps.

Signed Lebron James Photograph - 16 x 20 UDA LE 50The Heat won this contest by a score of 120-107. James had 26 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. The guy is amazing. He scored most of his 26 points in the first half. Lebron is the King and he has started this season in great form. We know now that he can win the big game. We know now that he can carry his team on his back when it's needed. We know he's the best player in the NBA.

The Heat will be a tough team to beat in the regular season but will be even tougher to beat once the playoffs start. James has a championship year to build on. It's scary to think that James can become even more dominant. He can with the supporting cast he has beside him.

Ray Allen scored 19 points off the bench. Chris Bosh scored 19 points and Dwyane Wade scored 26 points. How do you beat a team that scores those many points? How do you stop a team with 4 legitimate stars? I don't think you can.

I really believe that James and company are in the beginning stages of a dynasty. Call me crazy for thinking that but the big knock against James was that he couldn't win the big game and that he couldn't be the leader when it counted. They said he choked int he 4th quarter in big games.

This past spring, he proved everyone wrong. He proved to the NBA world that this is his league. He proved that he can lead a team. He proved he can carry a team. He proved that the Miami Heat is his team.

The only dark moment came when the thug of the NBA, Rajon "Rage On" Rondo flagrantly fouled Wade, when the game was out of reach for the Celtics. Rondo is a punk. This guy needs to be suspended for many games. He has no respect for his fellow players. He's a disgrace to the NBA.

While we're only into game 1 of the season, I like what the Miami Heat are offering. The heat definitely seem to be the team to beat.
