What's Taking So Long?

The NHL players have been locked out since September 15th. There still hasn't been any negotiations. The sides have not met since September 12th. What's taking the NHL & NHLPA so long to come back to the table? The NHL has reduced the hours of their employees to a 4 day work week and more cuts will probably happen if the lockout drags on.

I'm not sure what's taking these bums so long. All I can think of is that they're enjoying their vacation. While the the fans go to work and slog it out, these millionaires and billionaires are not in a hurry to get the work stoppage worked out.

This shows the common fan that these clowns are not in touch with their fan base. The fans want these underachievers to get their skates back on the ice. They want the useless owners to get back to work as well. The fans want their hockey and they want both sides to resolve their issues ASAP. is reporting that negotiations could resume this week. The operative word is "Could". I don't have any confidence that these ding dongs have the best interests of hockey and their fans at heart. I believe that both sides are incompetent and greedy human beings.

I believe that their greed could harm the well being of the NHL. A normal and smart human being would have a sense of urgency to resume play. I guess that this group of millionaires or billionaires you don't have that urgency. That's weird, since most businessmen and successful person has a work ethic and a drive to work for success.

I guess NHL players can play in the wonderful competitor to the NHL, the KHL. Yeah right! The fact that the KHL is an option over actually playing in the NHL is a joke. The vast majority of fans can only dream of playing in the NHL. These players take everything they have for granted. They are a bunch of elitists that either have no idea what it's like to be a hard working individual or they have forgotten about their humble beginnings.

I know I'm being critical of the NHL & NHLPA but they deserve it. I will continue to criticize and make fun of these bums as long as this lockout continues. I think I'm not alone when I say that this lockout is ridiculous.

It's time for Gary Bettman and Donald Fehr to take their pacifiers out of their mouths and start working hard to resolve this thing!
