Daily Honor Roll - August 26th, 2012

Imagine having a season that didn't go the way you expected. Imagine believing that you still had a chance to salvage the season. Imagine that you could salvage the season in a sport where winning a tournament is extremely difficult. Imagine that the field includes two of this year's major championship winners: Rory McIlroy and Ernie Els. Today's Honoree is....

Nick Watney - Won The Barclays on Sunday. He definitely wasn't on anyone's radar but he had a good 4th round to help him win the tournament. Kudos to Watney. He beat the odds to win a big tournament. Watney should be an inspiration to every athlete to believe that no matter what the obstacles are or the defeats that have been suffered, you can still attain success.

Today Watney is being honored because he represents the little guy. He represents the underdog. He represents athletes who go out onto the field of play, believing that today is the day!
