The Miami Heat are on Their Way to a 2012 NBA Championship

The Miami Heat lead by stars Lebron James and Dwyane Wade are steamrolling their way through playoffs. They easily beat the New York Knicks in the first round and got off to a good start against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.

Lebron James seems to have elevated his game and taken it to another level. He is becoming the leader that fans have expected for years. Lebron James was rewarded for his great play during the NBA's  regular season by receiving his third MVP award.

James seems headed to receiving his first NBA Championship and NBA Championship MVP award. After the Heat's first round series, I don't think there is an NBA team that can compete with them. I don't think that there is a team that can contain Lebron James.

James is on fire and playing with a chip on his shoulder. That's what has been expected of him in the past. James seems to have finally figured out how to be an MVP player during the playoffs. At this point, there doesn't seem any reason for me to be critical of his play.

In the past, It was easy to be critical of his effort and lack of production in the playoffs. It looks like I will have to eat my words. James may finally be proving me wrong. I believe that James will be an NBA champion at the end of the 2012 playoffs.

I also believe that Lebron James will change the perceptions about him. Instead of being criticised for his lack of success in the playoffs and his handling of his decision to play with the Heat, the media will be applauding his effort.

I also believe that Lebron James may also receive a lot of respect at the end of the playoffs. I think if the Heat win, it will be greatly due to the play of James. I think he'll be seen as a big time leader and the guy that carried his team to a championship.

I think that this 2012 playoffs might boost James's stature in the history of the NBA. I think he will be one step closer to being compared to the greats like Michael Jordan and Magic. He will still have to win at least one more championship to receive that status but with a 2012 championship, he will be one step closer.

James has definitely surprised me this playoff season. With James playing great basketball so far in the playoffs, I think the Miami Heat are on their way to an NBA Championship.
