Trying to Get Into the Groove

Since I started writing about sports on my site, it's made me think about my fitness. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I've let myself go and have packed on some pounds.

As some of you may know, once you pack on the pounds, it's really hard to change course and set things back to where they need to go. It's a real struggle for me. So I decided I need to do things slowly, so I can keep on the right track.

I've started by eating healthier. I'm trying to eat more protein than carbs and also cutting out sugary and fatty foods. It's hard. I like all things that are unhealthy. While I have been able to lose a few pounds here and there, I still have a long way to go.

I decided that I needed to go to the club more often. I think the only way to keep the pounds off and to aid in the weight loss, is to work out and do some exercise. So I've gone back to my club and hopefully I will see results soon.

The other day, I bumped into my neighbor and the guy had shed some major weight. I hadn't seen him all winter. Now that the weather has is nice out, I'm seeing all my neighbors. I asked the guy what he did to lose his weight. He told me that he'd been using something called P90X.

My neighbor told me that the workouts are intense and really physical. He told me that he's never worked out as hard as he did with the P90X system. I'm thinking of trying the program and decided to look into the program. I found a site that sells the program plus other exercise programs. The site I checked out is Fitness Alliance. They even have a program called the Insanity Workout. I think I'll work my way into that program.

One thing about P90X that has me really considering it, is that I found a site that offers a 90 day review. The site has a money back guarantee if the program doesn't work. Think of P90X as a Extreme Body Workout. It's definitely something for me to consider as I progress with my workouts and fitness goals.

With summer upon us, it is time to consider getting into shape quickly and getting into Beach Body shape. I will be consider the programs at Beach Body to help me with my goal of getting in shape, in time for summer.

Needless to say, that I now have a lot of options to consider but I think that I'm well on my way. Everything that I've been able to read online, seems to indicate that the P90X workout program works. If that's the case then I'll have to look into the other programs listed at Fitness Alliance.
