Week #3 QB Rankings - Top 5

Since we were late in releasing last week's picks, Sportmentary.com is releasing it's QB rankings this morning.  We saw some movement in the list.  Sportmentary believes that wins, TDs and interceptions play a big role in ranking the QBs.  QB statistics were found on NFL.com.  The top 4 ranked QBs on our list are very close to each other and Sportmentary wouldn't be surprised if the top 4 change positions throughout the season.  They already have.

1) Aaron Rogers (Last Week #2) - Rogers is 3-0 and is leading his team in great fashion..  Aaron Rogers has thrown for 9 TDs with 1 INT and 917.  Rogers QB rating is 120.9, the highest in the NFl.  Rogers is at the top of the list due to his low interception count and the fact his team is 3-0.  Rogers is averaging over 300 yards per game and has a completion percentage of 71.85 (Highest in the NFL).

2) Mathew Stafford - Stafford led a second half comeback (down 20-0 at the half) to divisional opponent Minnesota .Stafford has thrown for  has 9 TDs and only 2 interceptions and has a completion percentage of 66.9%.  Stafford has a 3-0 record.  Stafford has a QB rating of 110.7.

3) Drew Brees - Brees is 2-1  and is on fire.  He's faced tough opponents in Green Bay (3-0), Chicago (were 1-0 going into their week 2 match-up) and Houston.  Brees has 9 TDs with 2 INTs and has a pass completion record of 68.5%.  Brees has a QB rating of 109.7.  Brees has thrown for 1,059 yards (2nd most in NFL) and will be competing for a number 1 ranking.  Right now the number 1 and 2 positions are held by QBs that are 3-0.

 4) Tom Brady - Lost the game to Buffalo and his 4 INTs were the reason.  That being said, he came into the game with only 1 INT and his numbers are crazy good.  Brady is 2-1 and I believe he will be in the top 3 within a couple of weeks.  Brady has 11 TDs a 69.9 % pass completion % (Second highest in NFL) and has thrown for 1,327 yards (Most in NFL).  His QB rating is 113.8 (2nd highest in NFL).  Brady's is averaging 409 yards per game.  That's incredible.

5) Ryan Fitzpatrick - Fitzpatrick is 3-0 and led his team to a game winning FG over 2-0 (at game time) New England.  Fitzpatrick showed leadership and poise in Sunday's victory over the AFC's best team and best QB.  Stafford's numbers are: 9TDs with 3 INTs, a 64.9 pass completion record and a QB rating of 103.5.  Fitzpatrick has thrown for 841 yards.

There you have it.  Sportmentary.com's QB ranking for the end of week #3.  Let us know what you think.  Did we miss a QB (Eli Manning) or would you have ranked the top 5 differently?  We're eager to find out your opinions!
