Goodell Went to Lunch and Never Came Back

It seems as if NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell went to lunch and never came back.  Mr. Goodell is inconsistent in handing out suspensions.  He fined Braylon Edwards only 50,000 for a DUI the drunk pleaded no contest to (ESPN).  The incident occurred in 2010 and Edwards pleaded guilty to the crime this past July.

This is garbage.  Braylon the the drunk, put peoples lives in danger by driving under the ninfluece and posting a blood alcohol level nearly twice the legal limit.  Edwards broke the law and won’t face a suspension.

Next you’ll hear Goodell suspend a guy for a legal hit on the a quarterback.  He’ll fine the chump $1,00,000 and suspend him for 2 games.  Meanwhile, Edwards has his hand slapped.

With this decision, the drunk sympathizer Goodell is telling other players that it’s not that big a deal to drive while drunk.  He should be sending a message that the NFL will not tolerate this type of behavior.

I’m not a fan of Goodell who should change his name to badell to reflect the type of job he’s doing as commissioner.  Goodell should resign or be relieved of his position.  He’s a terrible commissioner.  Many players don’t respect him and fans are starting to lose faith in his ability to do the job.

Maybe he could resign and move to the North Pole.  He could be a commissioner for a polar football league.

It seems as if Roger Goodell went to lunch before the lockout and never came back.
