Rex Grossman Needs a Reality Check

Rex "The Hex" Grossman is predicting that the Washington Redskins will win the NFC East (ESPN.com).

Rex needs a reality check but maybe he knows something we don't!
Since Rex hasn't won the starting job as Quarterback, does he have inside information that the Skins will have a new competent starter?  That's what is needed (among other improvements) for Rex's predicition to become reality.

The Skins haven't won the NFC East in over ten years and they have almost no chance with Grossman.  He's absolutely terrible.  He makes Tarvaris Jackson look like a  Hall of Famer.  Rex didn't do well in Chicago and he stunk-up the field last year in relief of Donovan McNabb.

Rex should keep his trap shut and stick to learning his craft.  Predicting something like a division title prior to the season starting and given this team's history in the last decade is not only ludicrous but a huge distraction to his team.

It's OK to have confidence and that would be a step in the right direction for The Hex but he should keep his opinions to himself and his teammates.

The Hex just jinxed his team.  If I was one of his teammates I would be very angry with him.
